Nina Doad
Developing young leader interested in health promotion and citizen engagementNina is a recent graduate from the University of Waterloo’s Health Sciences program. She is currently serving as a co-lead of the Canadian Social Prescribing Student Collective, where she aims to further the student social prescribing movement. Nina also volunteers her time with the University of Waterloo's Peer Health Education program as a project coordinator. Nina is the research associate for the Collaborative Healthcare Improvement Partnerships (CHIPs) theme group of the Canadian Association of Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR). She is also a member of the Citizen Leadership Group of the Global Commission on Evidence to Address Societal Challenges. Nina has a strong passion for health promotion and community health, and hopes to continue her education journey and explore pathways at the intersection of public health and medicine.
