Join us this month as we address five distinct health equity-related questions identified by the Ministry of Health. These relate to research questions like how to measure health equity for health system performance and what types of data are needed to drive local health equity-oriented programming? And to health system delivery questions such as whether there are disparities in the use of virtual care or the care for individuals with chronic conditions like diabetes. Leveraging multiple data collection methods and analytical methods, each question was answered using collaborative efforts aimed at unravelling nuanced insights into health disparities within Ontario's health systems. Through sharing our findings, we hope to illuminate the landscape of health equity in Ontario, fostering informed discussions and paving the way for potential improvements within the broader health system.
