White House Year of Evidence: Taking stock of the evidence ecosystem today and tomorrow
As a centerpiece of the Year of Evidence for Action, launched at the White House Summit on Evidence for Action, the Biden-Harris Administration co-hosted a series of Evidence Forums over the course of the year. Jennifer Thornhill Verma, the Executive Director of the Evidence Commission, was invited to share insights from the Commission’s work at the final Evidence Forum, co-hosted by Penn State University’s Evidence-to-Impact Collaborative at the White House in late February. This event explored the state of research and evidence and its use in government settings, with a particular focus on addressing issues of equity across the evidence ecosystem.
