Kerry Waddell

Senior Scientific Lead for Evidence Support

Kerry Waddell leads the McMaster Health Forum’s engagement with Canadian federal, provincial and territorial governments, including efforts to formalize and strengthen evidence support systems across the country and lead pilots of innovative evidence support with select government departments.

She also works closely with the Forum team to respond to decision-makers questions through contextualized evidence syntheses including living and rapid evidence profiles, rapid syntheses and evidence briefs.

Prior to joining the Forum, Kerry was working as a technical consultant with the World Health Organization's Regional Office for Europe in the Division of Health Systems and Public Health working on the advancement of integrated health systems. Kerry received her Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, her Master of Science in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from a joint program between the London School of Economics and Political Science and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, her PhD in Health Policy with a specialization in Political Studies from McMaster University.
