Forum programs well positioned to support new five-year strategic plan set by World Health Assembly
World Health Assembly delegates recently agreed to a strategic plan for the next five years, which is designed to help the world achieve the Sustainable Development Goals - with a particular focus on SDG3: ensuring healthy lives and promoting wellbeing for all at all ages by 2030. The plan aims to achieve a 'triple billion' target by 2023 of: 1 billion more people benefit from universal health coverage; 1 billion more people are better protected from health emergencies; and 1 billion more people enjoy better health and wellbeing.
As the WHO Collaborating Centre for Evidence-Informed Policy, we're excited to support WHO member states' efforts to reach this 'triple billion' target by making available and supporting the use of the best available synthesized research evidence.
Health Systems Evidence (HSE) contains pre-appraised evidence syntheses to inform and support policy-making efforts to achieve SDG goal 3:

Social Systems Evidence contains pre-appraised evidence syntheses on most of the other #SDGs, with the exceptions of the health part of goal 3 (covered by HSE), most of goal 7 (energy), and all of goals 13-15
