Identifying community-based models of care that address the needs of ethno-racial communities

In recognition and awareness of the disproportionate effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing racial injustices and longstanding disparities in healthcare, there have been an increasing number of efforts and approaches to identify inequities and improve health outcomes among different ethno-racial groups. A better understanding of the features and the effects of existing community-based models of care can help identify the types of models that can best support the needs of ethno-racial communities.
