Leslie McGeoch
Technical focal point, RISE (Trillium Health Partners' Institute for Better Health)In her work with RISE, Leslie engages with OHTs to identify and develop supports grounded in research, such as RISE briefs, rapid syntheses, webinars, stakeholder dialogues and citizen panels. Her area of focus is the application of a population-health perspective to the delivery of health and other human services in a person-centred manner.
Leslie started her career in the private sector, spending 12 years in progressively more senior roles at Canadian Tire’s Corporate office where she led results-driven teams and projects ranging from $500M-$2B. She also helped to facilitate organizational changes impacting teams of 30-300 people.
After caring for a close loved one, Leslie found her passion in healthcare and pursued a Master of Health Science degree. Through her program, Leslie completed placements at both the Change Foundation and at West Park Healthcare Centre, supporting the development of key strategies to enable exemplary person-centric care through community integration.
Leslie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University, a Master of Health Science in Health Administration from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
